This black barleywine has been aged for 10 months in a bourbon barrel that previously contained an imperial stout. The Marris Otter-base gives this beer gives this beer hints of licorice roots and a bit of spicyness and the abundance of specialty malts gives this beer rich and intense flavours and a thiccc body. For the coffee addition, we used La Conchita coffeebeens from Keen, a Dutch coffee roaster. This specific coffee will impart dark chocolade, sugarcane, dried plum and orange flavours.
