The bitter cold calls for something dark, smooth, and fluffy. It’s brewed with lots of chocolate malt and oats. Then, fermented with an English yeast strain. Matt was interested in layering our toasted coconut treatment – used for Benthic – into a less extreme style. So, he infused this 7% abv porter with a hefty dose of hand-toasted coconut.Very dark brown in appearance, it pours full and viscous with sneaky-slow-to-develop tan foam. Give the foam an extra beat so you don’t over fill the glass. Aroma is mainly coconut and chocolate, some sweet fruits like cherry and caramel.
