To brew Moonshot, we’ve collaborated with Sodbuster Farms, Inc & Yakima Chief Europe. We were lucky to have the visit of Doug Weathers – the fourth-generation owner of Sodbuster – who hand-selected the best batches of Simcoe, Idaho 7, Mosaic, and Mosaic Cryo, for this beer through the Yakima Chief’s Farm to Pint series.Between hop smelling, brewing discussions & a lot of experience shared between all, we brewed this Mountain IPA with typical notes of both East Coast & West Coast IPAs. The result is a very balanced yet fruity & hoppy beer.
