It reappears! Certainly one of the most initially divisive beers we've crafted – a smoky, dry-hopped pilsner that evokes the rugged beauty of New Zealand's West Coast. In its last rendition, many were initially wary of her, but after the first sip, they found themselves reaching for another glass. And then another...This version has had the smoke percentage turned down slightly, but the Manuka smoked malt still imparts that lovely floral, almost bacon-like character, reminiscent of a crackling campfire on a misty Kiwi beach. The dry hops have been turned up – Wakatu, Rakau, and Motueka for the full spectrum of New Zealand hop character: fruity, floral, and citrusy, like the wild coastal blooms and fresh sea breeze.The rest of the beer is built around a clean pilsner base, made with Pinnacle yeast, capturing the essence of a crisp West Coast morning.
