Black Is Beautiful

Описание

The Black is Beautiful Initiative is a collaborative effort amongst the brewing community and its customers, in an attempt to bring awareness to the injustices that many people of color face daily. The mission is to bridge the gap around for ages and provide a platform to show that the brewing community is an inclusive place for everyone of any color. For our iteration, we brewed a big Imperial Stout and added Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Natural & San Jeronimo Miramar Sarchimor Honey coffees from Dark Matter Coffee. We are donating 100% of all package sales from this beer to Chicago Freedom School, an amazing organization that takes an innovative approach to civic engagement, leadership development, and movement building. Their programs, resources and trainings invite young people and adult allies to study of the work of past movements, deepen their understanding of current social problems, build new coalitions and develop strategies for change.
