Fresh Rhubarb is blended from 3 oak casks of traditional spontaneous beer that were chosen for their particularly soft acid profile. The blend has an average age of 17 months. For this beer, we worked with a farmer that has been tending the same patch of heirloom rhubarb for the past 105 years. The rhubarb is split and added directly to oak casks with the intention of long-term aging. Pure Rhubarb presents the freshest rhubarb flavor possible and is served within the first week of contact with the beer. The pour resembles a rosé, pushing aromatics of vanilla, freshly sliced apple and flavors of pink lemonade and citrus.
