I took last years recipe (originally a beloved homebrew recipe) and added even MORE grain and refermented it with dark maple syrup. The result is richer, maltier, chewier, and exquisitely boozy. Most of it went into a second use maple syrup bourbon barrel where it will age for AT LEAST 12 months. BabyFlannel is the young, unaged bit that didn't fit in the barrel. Full of date, caramel, dark toasty bread, and black cherry character with just a hint of smoke from the
