When Chef Mike at the Barrel House asked us to brew a beer in support of Chef Cycle, we raced on board. We decided to make the kind of beer we might want to drink after a long ride; a light, crushable, packed-with-flavor modern West Coast Pale Ale with Mosaic and Centennial hops.Chefs Cycle is an annual fundraising campaign in support of No Kid Hungry where renowned chefs and culinary community members battle hunger outside the kitchen. The campaign concludes with a 3-day cycling journey along California's stunning north coast, where participants of all skill levels celebrate their fundraising success.
