While the “normal” Barrelton was aged in a barrel that previously held a whiskey distilled from 70% rye, this lone sixtel is from a 100% Rye Whiskey. The two beers are similar, but this one has more rye flavor, vanilla, and allows the roastiness of the base beer to shine through better.
