Our Smugglers Bay Imperial Oat Stout is everything you expect from the style. Debuting at Winter Ales 2019 in Wellington, we brewed aclassic imperial stout, adding massive amounts of oats for rich, silky body and full mouth-feel. We then let the beer rest in former Kentucky bourbon casks for a year after which weconditioned it with pure Grade B Vermont Maple syrup. It’s a truly special beer withwelcome complexity. Drink now or age for 5-10 years, if you can wait that long.
