Another collab, this time with the super nice guys at True Brew Brewing Co. in Munich. These guys dare to do something different in one of Germany’s strongest lager strongholds so it was cool to hear how the deep south (Bavaria) are taking to something other than Helles.The beer itself is a concept they have been working on: namely, making a black beer with no black flavour (and only using German-approved ingredients, so no squid/printer ink). The end result is a totally blacked out but soft and drinkable IPA with an aroma of lychees! Bit of a mind twister, but all in all a tasty beer!
