Cloud 9 Double Barrel is an offspring of the original Cloud 9 Imperial Stout. The beer was first barrel-aged in selected bourbon barrels for 18 months. It was then transferred to freshly emptied bourbon barrels previously containing our barleywine, Phoenix 2021, and was patiently barrel-aged for another 6 months. Gently treated with high-quality cacao nibs, vanilla pods, and toasted coconut for additional complexity.The beer only exists in very limited quantities, served at special places, for special occasions.We recommend a serving temperature of around 14C, for the best drinking experience.
