Site Fermentation Project Syrah Sour Red

We placed a blend of sour red ale, averaging two years old, into our foedre; where it met with the spent cherries from our 2020 Lapin Cherry Sour and a ton of Syrah skins from Heathcote. This was then aged on these skins for four months.The beer pours blood red, with earthy spicy notes. The palate is distinctly sour, with grape tannins showing through.
