A first for Guinness in Baltimore, this beer contains real fruit; namely, forty pounds of blueberry puree! To support the delicate blueberry flavor and aroma, the brewing team fermented this brown beer with Abbey Ale yeast, resulting in a delicious combination of dark fruit aromas, and brown bread and raisin flavors. The fruit creates a sweetness upfront, but the beer finishes dry, with a medium body. A nice partner to a beautiful Spring day.
