We recently had a visit from our friend Menno, the man behind Holland's most innovative craft brewery, Brouwerij De Molen. Naturally we had to cook up something big and this Imperial Coffee Stout was born. We've used cold- extracted coffee roasted locally by Sognefjord Kaffibrenneri and about 30 dark malts in the brew, which boasts flavors of chocolate, coffee, and nus. This is a beer to take your time enjoying, and it should be served around 15"L. Gerę & Freke were the names of Odin's wolves in the Nordic Mythology, and Since Odin lived on wine alone, the wolves were given all the food that was otherwise intended for Odin during the ightly feasts in Vallhall.
