As the snow falls outside and the darkness embraces the landscape Nornir Brewery releases their very limited yule ale.This shimmering golden stout known as Draupnir was not crafted by Brokkr and Eitri like the original golden ring with the same name, owned by Odin himself. Yet they share some qualities; like the mind mind-boggling golden colour enable to bewitch just about any deity.Our Draupnir is a heavy Golden Stout with an ABV at 9 % and a low IBU at 19 % backed with malts adding to a pleasant mouthfeel. Emphasis on nutmeg, cardamom and in particular saffron.Disclaimer: Do not try to consume large quantities of this beer, as the amount of saffron content may be poisonous by overconsuming the beer.
