BREWED FOR SINGLE KEG SHOWDOWN 2019Malt: American Ale, Vienna Supernova, Redback, GladiatorHops: Amarillo, Chinook, Citra, Eukanot,Other: Hawaiian POG (Passionfruit, Orange and Guava) JuiceInnovation Brewer Alana has brought forth a cup of ochre gold. A (far, far) West Coast IPA style brew, this is a nod to the rolling green mountains of Hawaii, incorporating a local favourite, POG juice. At 8%, you’d think this would pack a wallop, but the gentle freshness of the tropical flavours, the brightness of the brew and the balancing effect of a very present yet necessary and well-defined bitterness make this a very appealing beer indeed.
