General Wolfe is a tribute to two distinct styles of American brewing – the revolutionary home of the craft beer movement in Portland, Oregon, on the Pacific Coast, and the British-inspired pale ale varieties of Portland, Maine, on the Atlantic, only a few miles south of where James Wolfe fought to keep Canada a British protectorate.Brewed with malts that echo the Atlantic style, providing a full body and rich toffee on the palate, and hops and yeast from the Pacific Northwest which elevate the beer with a fresh pine and citrus finish, General Wolfe is a showcase of two distinct North American beer styles viewed through a British lens.
