This beer was created for HELAXE, the only axe throwing club in Finland.This braggot, which is a half beer - half mead (honey wine), is flavored with yarrow and black pepper and fermented with a traditional Gjerness Voss kveik yeast which we sourced directly from Norway so it’s the real authentic deal and not a commercialized strain.So other than some added hops and the touch of a fine-dining focused brewer, this is pretty close to something the vikings might have drank back in their times!
