Teeter Totter Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout Conditioned On Whole Coffee Beans

In late 2020 we brewed a batch of Teeter Totter Imperial Stout & filled a few @heavenhilldistillery bourbon barrels with it. We recently tested, emptied, & blended those barrels. We moved the Imperial Stout to stainless & conditioned it on whole coffee beans from Toronto's @sbtxt.coffee. We opted to use their Ethiopia Rogicha release, which is from the hamlet of Rogicha and is "chock-full of strawberry and cherry with bright citrus undertones and hints of sweet, warm spice."The resulting beer is incredibly complex & satisfying, both rich with flavour & depth. The dense & heavy base beer has been transformed & now presents with a light mouthfeel which is sustained of flavours of bourbon, coffee, cocoa, & coffee.
