2023 west coast IPA challenge. This year 80's action movies. Enter Cliffhanger - Sly Stallone at his best saving the world whilst freeclimbing frozen rock. Despite it's bygone era name this a modern themed westie exampling the style as it has evolved. A cleaner, leaner, brighter and snappier base beer then was made in the heyday of the IBU wars. Still with the classic features of high bitterness, high abv and a dry finish we have used a light malt base to shove the hops to the front and centre. Undertones of modern liquid hop additives punch a fruit forward fist of tropicality supported by classic pine needles with topnotes of candied lemon zest and orange.
