A cold IPA is a cross between an American lager and an American IPA. For this beer we used a very pale NZ lager malt along with 20% rice to make a very light malt base. On top of this we heavily hopped the whirlpool and dry hop with NZH-101 (a new trial hop from NZ hops). The result is easy drinking with all the hop punch of a modern IPA.
