This is a wonderful variety of apple of unknown name! We used to call this Ball’sBittersweet, but DNA analysis of the variety has revealed that it actually has noknown genetic match. So for now, we’re calling it Bittersweet Legacy. It’s a soft,gentle bittersweet apple that has really lovely tannins that float across the palate togive a pleasant finish.
