This beer was all about firsts. First, we used a new yeast strain, at least to us,called Hazy Daze. Then, instead of sticking with traditional hop additions (in the kettle and postfermentation), we added two pounds of Citra to the fermenter prior to filling it with wort. Thishelped with biotransformation, from the yeast and hop interactions. Brewers have noticed thatthis interaction can create a fuller aroma and flavor.
