Our first Guinness wit bier pays homage to the traditions of the style: notable yeasty character, hazy pale golden-orange appearance, crisp, light, and undeniably refreshing. To honor our running spirit of experimentation, we added Guava puree to the recipe. This addition spikes the color a bit, but also throws tropical fruit and slight citrus into the flavor mix. These subtle hints marry with the banana aromas from the yeast, resulting in a lip-smackingly dry summer quencher.
