On the special occasion of Untappd 10-year anniversary we invited Pavel @rodskjegget Logvinov who is our many years friend and one of the three Russian Untappd moderators to act as a plenipotentiary ambassador of the project, free labor-force and casual listener to our complicated brewers’ jokes and rumors. And all together we designated aronia aka chokeberry as our very specific local ingredient. Since you don’t have to travel as far as 100 miles from St. Petersburg to recall an unmistakable astringent taste of the berries sneaked from the neighbor’s garden or your boy’s plays ending with washing away the plum-colored blots from your clothes or your dacha fence.
