First things first, let’s talk about the elephant in the room. What is a raw ale? In the simplest terms, raw ales are produced by not boiling the wort. This process (or lack thereof) brings out a fuller mouthfeel and distinctive flavours that are not present in traditionally boiled ales. Our raw farmhouse ale showcases the many characteristic “green” grain- and hay-like flavours. Fermenting this mash hopped raw wort with our workhouse French Saison strain makes for a unique experience with a hint of funk added to the party.
