Wet Hop Cold IPA

To pay homage to the hard-working hop farmers of the northwest US, we brewed an emerging style from the region and made a Cold IPA. Characterized by a lighter malt bill and fermented with lager yeast slightly warmer than usual, this Cold IPA shines the spotlight on the hops. 800 pounds of freshly picked Amarillo are the backbone of the beer, with accents from Cascade and a new experimental hop in the dry hop. The result is a very smooth, hop forward beer to really make you feel like you are standing in a hop field. Notes of candied citrus, stone fruit cut grass all jump out of the glass.
