The Porter style was once the main beer produced and consumed across Britain. Lighter and more approachable than a Stout (Porter) makes it still drinkable in even the hottest of Japanese summers. This is really not like many dark beers you will try, so maybe even close your eyes when you try it and just enjoy the complex array of balanced flavours that journey across your palate. This was also the very first beer recipe I formulated when I started brewing school and so is quite a special beer to me. Please try and enjoy!
