Kvass

A sour ale inspired by the traditional Slavic and Baltic fermented beverage (called Kvass) commonly made from rye bread. It is a collaboration with our multi-talented friends at The Portsider, who not only pour wonderful beer but bake incredible sourdough too. We used Pip's rye sourdough in the mash and fermented the beer with her second and younger sourdough culture. Rye sourdough in a glass! The current version has the addition of Iranian barberries for extra sour power
