One of the funnest parts of brewing is taking the litany of ingredients at our disposal and blending them to tell a new story for the customer's palate. Other times, we have a beer that we all love, and out of sheer curiosity, we crank the recipe up to eleven to see what its super version would be like. In this instance, we took Dreaming In Neon, a favorite of friends and family, then piled on the ingredients to boost it up to the next realm, Double IPA. Like its smaller stature sibling, Screaming In Neon is a LASER beam of East Asian flavors with fresh-squeezed notes of passionfruit, pineapple spears, yuzu, citron, kumquat, and guava that are perfectly balanced with delicate notes of lemongrass and floral citrus. As much as we are absolutely in love with Bru-1 hops, we can't help but wish they had named it something more representative of just how tropical and juicy it is so people would clamor for it as much as they should.Hops: Mosaic, Idaho7, Bru-1
