This delicious and tart ale is the result of a summer visit from Det Lille Bryggeri’s founder and brewmaster René Hansen, who joined us on Fanø for two wonderful days of brewing and conversation. Soured in our kettle over the first evening with the use of lactobacillus before being fermented on white peaches, yellow plums, and mango, “Frugtsalat På Fanø” hits you first with lush flavours of fruit before delivering a sour yet refreshing finish. Located in Ringsted and named the Danske Ølentustiaster’s “Årets Danske Bryggeri” in 2020, Det Lille Bryggeri continues to make a big name for itself in Denmark by brewing a wide range of top quality beers.
