We don't get to make Pale Ales as much as we would like but we were able to catch up on the other styles enough to fit one into our schedule. Subtle Art of Hops uses a new variety called Pacific Sunrise grown by Hop Revolution in New Zealand. This unfiltered New Zealand-Style Pale Ale is much drier than a Hazy Pale Ale, giving it the mouthfeel and drinkability of a West Coast Pale Ale. Think of it as a WC Pale Ale with large amounts of hop haze due to the 4.4 lbs per bbl dosing rate. Flavors consists of Sauvignon Blanc wine grapes, pineapple, and gooseberries.
