Autumn 2015 sees the arrival of number two in our occasional series of Ochtoberfest beers.OCHT – number eight in Irish.Ochtoberfest is a modern Irish festival celebrating the lucky and infinite nature of the number eight. Only beer brewed eight degrees west longitude, during the eighth month of the year, and served at eight degrees celsius can be consumed at this festival.Back in 2012, the style we picked was a marzen; this year we’ve gone all bock.Our bock is a strong ale, with plenty of Munich and Vienna malt and a touch of crystal for light toffee sweetness. It is moderately hopped with Chinook and Hersbrucker and pours a beautiful orange-amber in the glass with a fluffy white head.
