A play on the historic, The First Fleet consisting of 11 ships, this 11% Red IPA was fermented on Pomegranate Molasses, giving it a tart, fruity, slightly sour twist to the classic rich, malty, character of the IPAIt’s believed Pom/Pommy originated as a contraction of “Pomegranate” which was Australian rhyming slang for “immigrant” strengthened by the belief that the English fair skin turned red like a pomegranate.
