The simplest beer we have ever made with just 3 main ingredients; Barrett Burston Extra Pale Malt, German Saphir hops and AB Biotek Pilsner yeast.The focus for this one was to try out a new malt on the Australian market, locally made Barrett Burston Extra Pale malt. Super light in colour, this malt was a perfect candidate for a single malt and single hop (SMaSH) Pale Lager. Brewing with it in this stripped-back approach allows us to get a clear idea of what exactly this malt brings to the beer table.And what it has brought is a light, super refreshing lager that is perfect for these warming Springtime conditions!
