Golden ale aged on lees in a 500-litre second use sherry barrel.Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma opens up with soft notes of stone fruits with hints of wet iron. As the beer opens up, layers of aromas emerge, including honey, citrus, wet leather, and graphite. On the palate, you get prickly carbonation and an unctuous mouth feel carrying flavours of sour tropical fruits, leading to unripe peach with firm tannins and a hint of brioche. Subtle minerally finish with notes of decomposing wood and lingering white vinegar.
