The newest hop to graduate from Yakima’s breeding program gets the Pedestal treatment.Pedestal is our line of single hop beer. We single out one particularly delicious hop and put it up high on a hazy pedestal for your taste buds to enjoy in all its isolated, lupulin filled glory.We use our house yeast, the same malt/water profile and change only one thing: the hop.This version features the hop Sabro (formerly known as Ron Mexico, which we think is a far superior name, but what do we know).We taste big notes of creamy coconut backed by tangerine sherbet and tropical fruits with some lingering pine notes. It reminds us a lot of Pina Colada.
