This black barleywine has been aged for 10 months in a bourbon barrel that previously contained an imperial stout. The Marris Otter-base gives this beer gives this beer hints of licorice roots and a bit of spicyness and the abundance of specialty malts gives this beer rich and intense flavours and a thiccc body. We added vanilla to further enhance the barrel flavour.
