Here we are again, happy and proud to present yet another beer in our project. This time we chose for a summer style beer, in the hope we do get to enjoy some summerdays here. A low ABV, blond, hoppy, lagerish beer is on it's way to you!As the first of 6 single (Belgian) hop beers, we chose Sorachi Ace as our primus.On a nice Februari day, we found ourselves in the little town of Proven. It's in this pitoresk place that we met Benedikt and Wout on their hopfarm. Honestly I was quiet astonished how much effort and passion these people put in their product. The main reason why they keep noumerous "blauw wit" cows is because they need their dung to furtilise their hopfields.For all I know it's the first commercial field of Sorachi Ace in Belgium. As a progressive brewery we like to help out and try newer things.The recipe for this beer was already written with an opening for 6 different hop flavours. The goal is to point out the differences and the simularities between them in an easy drinkable beer (a bit like mikkel ordered to do). Offcourse we would only use premium Belgian hops.So go ahead and enjoy this summery beer (With high hopes the Belgian weather allows us to).p.s. For all those who oppose to the taste of Sorachi Ace: Just try and see that this Belgian variant is less bitter but very good in taste and flavour.
