Vanilla Origins (SAVA Madagascar Vanilla Beans)

Imperial Stout conditioned on SAVA Trading Company Madagascar vanilla beans. Approximately 85% of the world's vanilla comes from the "SAVA" region of Madagascar on the Northeast Coast. SAVA is an acronym for the 4 largest cities in the area, Sambava, Antalaha, Voheymar, and Andapa.  The cooperative that SAVA Trading Co. partners with to source their vanilla is in a village just outside of Andapa. The cooperative, FTTV (Fikambanana Tantsaha Tsara Vokatra), is made up of 800 members from surrounding villages in the region.
