2020年1月の｢NEW TRY OUT(ニュートライアウト)｣以来、奈良醸造で約3年半振りに造るペールエール。今回は奇を衒わず、ど真ん中のアメリカンペールエールを目指しました。メインで使用したホップはカスケード。柑橘の香りと苦味に通じる味わいを持ったホップに麦芽の味わいをバランスさせて仕上げました。グラスを鼻に近づけるとカスケードホップ由来のグレープフルーツを思わせる柑橘の香りにモルトの香りが重なります。口に含むと麦芽の力強い味わいをホップの苦味が引き締める心地よい飲み口で、ついつい次の一口が進む味わい。ほっと落ち着いて一息つきたいときに飲んで欲しいビールです。While hoppy beers like IPA are currently in vogue, pale ale, the origin of this style, has long been a typical beer style in the craft beer world. This time, we aimed for a classic American Pale Ale. The citrusy aroma and balanced bitterness from the Cascade hops complement the malt flavor. This is the perfect season for a hearty pale ale. This beer is easy to pair with a variety of dishes, so find your favorite pairing.
