This rich stout spent just under two years maturing in ex-bourbon barrels, developing layers of complexity. After being decanted, we loaded it up with over 60g/L of coconut, 20g/L of toasted hazelnut, and 10g/L of cacao nibs. The result is a thick, decadent beer with smooth, roasty notes of chocolate, coconut, and hazelnut.As always, we skipped the lactose, letting the natural richness of the ingredients shine.
