It's a Belgian-style saison. Season, saison, get it? Yeah I thought it was clever.Now the tasting notes. I have them right here. So this one has "restrained spicy phenolics of clove and pepper" with some "fruity citrus from German dry hop additions". Sounds pretty good. And no, I don't know what a phenolic is. It's my job to write beer notes, but sometimes I have zero clue what the brewer is talking about.Can someone explain? What's a phenolic, anyone?And can someone also explain why we're releasing a "dry and refreshing" beer in the middle of winter?Good name though.
