George T. Stagg built the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century, during a time known as the Gilded Age of Bourbon. In honor of his legacy and to help celebrate our 7th Anniversary the folks at Midwest Barrel Company helped us hand-pick a single, freshly dumped, dripping-wet Stagg Jr. barrel. This single barrel project was intended to showcase our Double Mashed Russian Imperial Stout recipe and a truly special barrel, unadulterated. After well over a year in oak, our patience was rewarded with an incredibly complex, cask-forward flavor profile that seems to evolve sip after sip.
