Botanical Series: French 75

The next installment in our Botanical Series focuses once again on the botanical blend found in gin, but this time showcases those flavors as they appear in the famous “French 75” cocktail. As is the case with the cocktail, we bring notes of bright citrus, lemon peel, and juniper to the forefront. We also co-fermented this beer with a strain of champagne yeast to mimic the bone dry finish and effervescent character contributed to the cocktail by a top-off of sparkling wine.
