*Cue dramatic music*...We made a Black IPA, and it’s really, really good. This slightly roasted Cascadian Dark Ale is jam packed with hops: Chinook, Cascade, & Simcoe in the boil, Citra & Cascade in the whirlpool, PLUS Citra, Simcoe, & Galaxy in the dry-hop. Yeah, woah. The resulting beverage is wonderfully (obviously) hop-forward & classically bitter (boasting 75 IBUs), with delightfully roasty notes of toffee & caramel. It’s an ideal fireside companion for all the impending cozy nights in.
