Both winners of the grisette competition at our Homebrewers Festival gave this neglected style a modern twist: Elemental Brewery used Kveik, a Norwegian farmhouse yeast, to add stone fruit flavours; Irrerevent Ales upped the hop profile with Cascade and Centennial. The three of us joined up to combine these qualities in an elegant golden saison that’s a tribute to the creativity of home brewers everywhere.
