Spencer harvested fresh green walnuts and put them into a keg with beer more than two years ago. They provide a unique fruity-floral note that is difficult to describe in this barrel-aged sour red (the same base from Opulence 2019). When it is poured the beer is red, but compounds from the walnuts turns brown almost immediately when exposed to the air (which is why the Italian liquor nocino is black)!
