You can't have honey without bees! The day we brewed this beer, the bees must have wanted to make sure we knew the source of our ingredients. With honey in the brewhouse, we were faced with a swarm of thousands of bees. They must have been ok with our creation though - nobody was stung! Fleeing the Swarm is an Oat & Honey IPA brewed with malted and unmalted oats and conditioned on fresh harvested Montgomery County honey. Hopped with a delightful blend of Citra, Hallertau Blanc, Azacca and Motueka, you'll experience notes of passionfruit, blueberry pie, candied nuts, pillowy custard, hot toddy and a squeeze of lime. Enjoy this one, and be thankful you didn't have to participate in Fleeing the Swarm!
